I used embroidedworkwear.co.uk to order polo tops, work trousers, fleece jackets, sweaters and other Workwear however I will not be making this mistake again and urge others looking for Embroided Workwear polo tops and the like to avoid this shambolic Workwear Company.

I ordered polo tops on 14/09/11 which were supposed to arrive within 7 - 28 working days and eventually received the polo tops on 13/01/12 some 4 months after ordering and paying embroidedworkwear.co.uk in full.

I ordered large polo tops 42-44" as I have done previously however the polo tops arrived measured a whopping 48" and embroidedworkwear.co.uk are unwilling to refund/exchange.

They say I ordered large polo tops and I got large polo tops end of story. One of the embroidedworkwear.co.uk CS agents (Nicola) even cut me off while I was still talking to her about the polo tops and I suddenly realised that Embroided Workwear genuinely have no regard for customer satisfaction.

After discussing this with Oliver Slingsby the owner of embroidedworkwear.co.uk I felt even more annoyed as all I got was one ridiculous excuse after the other about the huge variance in size between this and my previous order of the same item.

Excuses ranged from the old polo tops have shrunk, The old polo tops have the wrong label in them right through to calling me a liar and suggesting the photo I sent were not 2 large polo tops but a medium and a large polo top to make the difference in size look much greater than it was.

After explaining to Oliver from embroidedworkwear.co.uk that I ordered the same polo tops as usual and the same size he continued to fob me off however after several emails to oliver@embroidedworkwear.co.uk he eventually admitted they changed suppliers and the polo tops now measure 46 - 48" instead of the 42" previously.

Oliver again fobbed me off so I explained again that I went to his website embroidedworkwear.co.uk selected the same polo tops and size 42-44" and fully expected to receive polo tops of that size like my previous orders.

Embroided Workwear knows there is an issue with the size of the polo tops since changing supplier. However the size on the drop down box has not been updated and anyone ordering size 42-44" will receive 46-48", there is no warning on the item description or throughout the ordering process to advise customers of this change in size.

Knowing that I am in the right and having done nothing wrong I sent another email to Oliver Slingsby owner of Embroided Workwear suggesting I may take advice from the CAB or Trading Standards and was surprised when I received Oliver's reply as follows:

I see you have realised that any Trading Standard Office, CAB and or Court in the UK would see our side of this story of the person who ordered the wrongly sized goods despite the supplier of these goods doing all they can to help customers with a sizing guide.

I am sorry you feel this way and I'm quite miffed at the way you are dealing with this, do what you need to do.

Kind Regards
Oliver
Embroided Workwear

This example of unprofessionalism and blatant disregard towards the customer Just shows exactly how Embroided Workwear treat their customers, needless to say I will not order from embroidedworkwear.co.uk again and would advise anyone looking for Workwear, fleece tops, sweaters, polo tops, work trousers or other Embroided goods to avoid Embroided Workwear and source a Workwear supplier who value customers and treat them with the respect they deserve.

Author Resource:- I would advise anyone looking for Workwear, fleece tops, sweaters, polo tops, work trousers or other Embroided goods to avoid Embroided Workwear and source a Workwear supplier who value customers and treat them with the respect they deserve.
