The city of Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay) is the capital of the state of Maharashtra in Western India. It is most populated city in India and is the 5th most populated city in the world. It is also the financial, entertainment and commercial capital of India and the Indian stock market functions out of Mumbai. Many tourists from around the world, who go to tour India, visit this city. It is a part of the itinerary of most 'tours India' packages. The city was once an important port in the Indian British Empire and the English developed the commercial sector of the city. It is also the richest city in the country and many prominent businessmen and personalities live in the city of Mumbai.

The city of Mumbai is truly a world and is one of the prominent urban centers of our planet. People from many different countries belonging to different caste, creed, sex, religion, ethnicity and religion, live and work in this city and contribute to its culture and lifestyle.
